Your journey departs in the morning from Playa del Inglés, picking up available from most of the hotels. The first stop is Barranco de Guayadeque, where you can visit the indigenous cave complex with its cave houses. The rock chapel next to the cave is also worth a visit, our guide will give you lots of interesting information. The programme includes a visit to a cave dwelling and, of course, a taste of the famous Serrano ham.
Then we continue our journey towards Arucas. The town is home to the oldest rum factory in Spain, where you can see the production process and taste the drinks made here. The rum museum will give you an insight into the history of rum making, followed by a visit to the church of San Juan in town.
Our journey then takes us to two ancient districts of Las Palmas, Vegueta and Triana, which date back to the 15th century. We will start with a visit to the fish, fruit and vegetable market, where you can taste the local fruits, and then we will walk to the historic quarter. In the historic district you will find Calle Triana, the shopping street. You can continue the program with the group to visit the Santa Ana Cathedral and the Columbus House, or choose your own sightseeing interests and shopping in the capital.
After the meeting we will visit Playa Las Canteras, the second largest urban beach in the world. Here we also offer our passengers a free time , giving you the opportunity to visit the Auditorium, shop at Las Arenas Plaza, stroll, have a coffee on the promenade of Las Canteras or go to the beach.
Next stop is Bandama, which was the last active volcano on Gran Canaria 5,000 years ago. From the top of Pico de Bandama you can admire the view, peer into the 200-metre deep crater and admire the panorama of Las Palmas.
